Are you looking for a kitten Maine Coon in Geneva, Lausanne, Neuchâtel, Fribourg, Sion or elsewhere in French-speaking Switzerland? Good news: distance is not an obstacle. Our family kennel is located in Courtételle, in the canton of Jura, and our kittens join families throughout French-speaking Switzerland — and beyond.
Jura breeding, families all over French-speaking Switzerland
Courtételle is located a few minutes from Delémont, about an hour from Bienne, Basel or Neuchâtel and about two hours from Lausanne or Geneva by road. A visit is therefore easily planned over half a day, and many of our families take advantage of the trip to meet the kittens, the mother and our home — the best way to get an honest idea of a kennel.
Check which kittens are currently available
The page Kittens available is our current reference. Each status is explained there: “available” means that no reservation has yet been confirmed, “option” means that a discussion is under way, and “reserved” means that the kitten has found its family. As statuses can change quickly, please contact us for confirmation before travelling.
How does a distance adoption work?
It all starts with an exchange, by telephone, WhatsApp or e-mail: your home, your expectations, your questions. We then present to you the kittens available with recent photographs, and we send them regularly until departure. The reservation follows the same steps wherever you live: written contract, deposit, then departure of the kitten at three and a half months — vaccinated, identified, sterilized and accompanied by its complete adoption kit (see our conditions).
For the day of departure, hand delivery remains the option we prefer: at the farm, or according to an arrangement agreed together and in compliance with the animal transport rules in force. We just talk about it when booking.
What never changes, wherever you are
- A personal exchange before any reservation
- A written contract and transparent conditions
- The same adoption kit and the same care for each kitten
- News and photographs until departure
- Our availability after adoption, without canton limits
Frequently asked questions
Are you adopting in the cantons of Geneva, Vaud, Neuchâtel, Friborg or Valais?
Yes. Our kittens join families throughout French-speaking Switzerland and beyond. The prior exchange, the contract and the follow-up are identical whatever your canton; only the method of handing over the kitten must be planned together.
How can I find out whether a Maine Coon kitten is still available?
First check our Kittens page, then contact us to confirm the status before travelling. Availability can change quickly when an enquiry or reservation is in progress.
Do you have to come to the breeding farm?
A meeting remains the best way to get to know each other and we encourage it — she prepares with us to respect the rhythm of the animals. If the distance complicates the visit, the exchange is done by telephone or video and we send regular photographs.
How does the kitten get to me?
Hand delivery, at the farm or according to an arrangement agreed together, is the preferred option. Any transport solution must comply with the rules applicable to the transport of animals; we discuss this when booking.
