This policy describes how Maillard'Coon/Pretty Lynx (Larisa Ananyeva, Rue du Mont 4, 2852 Courtételle, Switzerland) processes the personal data of visitors to this site, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (LPD, revised as of September 1, 2023) and, where applicable, the European Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This site is published and operated by Larisa Ananyeva, operating under the name Maillard'Coon / Pretty Lynx, Rue du Mont 4, 2852 Courtételle, Switzerland - cat breeding Maine Coon registered with the SFNJ and affiliated with the Fédération Féline Helvétique (FFH). 2. Data collected

We only collect data that you voluntarily transmit to us, in particular via the contact form (name, e-mail, subject and message). This information is used only to respond to your request and is not sold or passed on to third parties for commercial purposes. As an anti-spam security measure, the IP address of contact form senders is briefly stored (limit of 5 messages per hour), then automatically deleted after 24 hours at the latest.

3. Cookies and external content

Third-party content (Google Maps, YouTube videos) is only loaded after you explicitly click on it: no data is transmitted to these services until you request it. This site measures its traffic in two ways. Firstly, a strictly anonymous, cookie-free internal measurement: the IP address is never recorded; it is only used briefly in memory to deduce the country and an anonymous identifier valid for one day, then it is immediately deleted. These aggregated statistics include the device type, approximate country, and average page visit duration. Secondly, Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-QPWZQFMJ0P), associated with Google Ads, places cookies on your device to measure site traffic and evaluate the effectiveness of our ads. The measured events are pages viewed and contact actions: form submission, clicks on the phone number, WhatsApp, or email address. The content of your messages is never transmitted to Google.

Once loaded, these services may place their own cookies and process your IP address, in accordance with their own privacy policies (Google, YouTube). Google Analytics and Google Ads also process your browsing data on our behalf. As these services are provided by a US company, a transfer of data to the United States may occur; Google is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, recognized as offering an adequate level of protection under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). You can opt out of audience measurement by installing the opt-out browser add-on offered by Google (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or by disabling cookies in your browser settings.

4. Shelf life

Messages sent via the contact form are kept only as long as necessary to process your request, then deleted. Anonymous website traffic statistics are kept for a maximum of 13 months, while those from Google Analytics are kept for a maximum of 14 months. Anti-spam security logs (IP address) are deleted after 24 hours at the latest.

5. Accommodation

This site is hosted in Switzerland. The data transmitted via the contact form is sent by e-mail and is not stored in a database on this site.

6. Your rights

In accordance with the LPD and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, delete and oppose data concerning you. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@maillardcoon.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Transparency Officer (PFPDT), the Swiss supervisory authority for data protection (www.edoeb.admin.ch).
